Hi,
No it is not that MBP. This is my wife’s laptop. It is a windows machine connected directly to the router with an ethernet cable. I can assure you the problem is not on my end. I am using the exact same setup I have been using everywhere I lived. The same machine, the same hardware, the same software, connected by ethernet directly to the router and the problems started day 1 I am here in this house with your connection.
Also, the problem happens with all the devices, my computer, my wife laptop and phones. Although the biggest issue is for me. I am a computer engineer working remotely and if my shh sessions drop, this is quite bad and disturbing. Also while playing videogames as you can see on the video I uploaded. A normal person just web browsing, can be annoying that sometimes a web does not load for 5-10 secs but you just wait.
I suspect your network is overloaded and there might be some routers that sometimes get overloaded and drop packages. You know a router has a finite memory and while processing data packages if at some point it reaches its maximum memory, it just drops the packages it received. Actually, I have not done yet, but I want to try using a vpn to see if that patches the problem.
Also, observing that lots of different people are having the same problem these reinforces my theory your network is overloaded… To be honest, I lived in 5 different countries and I never saw a service as bad, specially for these price. I am a little bit depressed because I cannot forsee a good solution here.
