Since 6 weeks or so I have detected that I can’t access Netflix content from other countries and I think some kind of Traffic policy/shapping is being applied by UPC.
I’m using a service (unotelly) which redirect DNS in order to acces Netflix base on other countries, but this has stopped working as expected and now all the content devlier by Netflix through this service is really slow or with a verly low quality.I can only see netflix properly if I do not use the service (hence I am enforce to watch the Netflix Swiss content) or if I select Switzlerand as the country.
I thought this was an issue with the service provided by Unotelly, but to check I tried the same with other providers (Unblock-us, TVUnblock) and I got exactly the same behavior.
I even contancted Unotelly in order to confirm the issue was not due to them and after some troubleshooting sessions, checking different DNS server provided by them, we figured out the issue was not due to their service.
Can you please confirm Cablecom is appliying or not trafiic shapping or similar?
