- Update the software on the TV set to the current version.

- Update the programme line up on the television

- remove the DIgiCard CI+ modules from the television and insert them again after 20 seconds (does the television then recognise the modules?)

- What error message appears on the screen when you select the TV programme ProSieben HD (station 93)?

schoad Can you please turn on your TV and switch to the encrypted channel Pro 7 HD? Please leave the TV on on this channel. Please contact me again afterwards, I will send you the channel rights again.

After that, when I delivered the channel rights, we wait about 30 minutes. The TV picture should be decrypted after that.

In addition, I recommend to change once to the channel 696. This should be the info channel. Leave the channel open and the TV on. Every 10 minutes the card should check for a software update. But please do this step only after we have decrypted the channels.

This is all the information I got from the TV regarding the CI module and smartcard.

Both parts seem to be operational, but not decoding the private channels

the only option left in my CI module setting is “factory reset”, worth a shot?

and it can’t be the TV as the card was working in that TV since 2019.

schoad Do you have the Info Channel on 696? If yes, can you please let the channel open for 20 Minutes, as you get software updates on this channel for your card.

If it does not go further, we will reactivate your two cards i system.

yes, I have tried 696 (sunrise info channel) multiple times for up to 1 hour. no updates

schoad We have found the error. The DigiCard you have does not belong to your account and was terminated. But we see two DigiCards on your account. Do you not have them anymore?

I have 3 cards (2 purchased as lifetime cards, 1 replacement)

1 is working.

1 is defective (replaced with number 3)

1 replacement (the one I shared here)

seems like the replacement was never properly added to my account.

the ci module of the defective card is not recognized at all in the TV

It doesn’t even show any CI information (like version, firmware, serial) when inserted.

So basically I have 2 paid Digicards:

the one that you don’t re-activate
the one that is broken

Can I so a swap in a sunrise store? i really do need a working Digicard and I am willing to pay for an exchange.

not working. the CI module of that digicard is dead

I don’t get any CI info when inserted into the TV.

The other CI module works (but you mentioned that you are not allowed to activate it).

Is there a way to pair the “active” smartcard with the working CI module?

This seems to be the breakdown:

1 CI Module & Smartcard working, but due to licences? issues can’t be reactivated
1 broken CI module & 1 “working” Smartcard

Do I really need to buy a setup box or use an aftermarket CI module to get my HD programs that I already paid for with my 99 CHF Digicards?

If there is a licencense issue, I accept as well a full refund as I can’t consume the service anymore.

schoad My hands are now tied, because the warranty of your DigiCard has expired and I can not provide you with a replacement and also no credit of CHF 99.- (the card was purchased for CHF 99.-). A pairing of the module and another I can also not initiate.

I assume the DigiCard stays now activated indefinite? Worst case that could happen would be hardware defect and as Sunrise is not planning to sell any DigiCards in the future, all people that love the ease of use of a CI+ module,are out of luck.
