No carrier with Europe mobile flat abos

We switched to Europe package for both mobiles (iPhone) last week. Switch went fine in CH. we are now in Italy and have no carrier. No service displayed on both phones. Already reset hard and no solution
Can someone help asap. We need phone/internet on holiday

The only other thing I can think of is logging in to your UPC account and checking your mobile settings, as roaming (and other stuff) can be enabled/disabled there. Of course it should all be enabled by default but it’s worth a check.

Unfortunately, apart from phoning UPC I can see no other way. I have “pinged” someone at UPC who I know from experience is very helpful, but I don’t know how often they monitor these forums.

i have no twitter account and to activate i need an sms code with no carrier this is not done

It should show a carrier even if you didn’t switch to the Euro package, it’s just that you’d be charged loads 🙂

Check your settings. Settings / Carrier

if it’s not on auto, it should be! If it is, try changing it to manual and picking each network in turn to see if one works.

As you said “asap” and UPC don’t monitor these forums very often, try twitter (or phone, but that’ll be expensiv from Italy!).
