Hello ,

I have a new smart TV and was trying to connect it to the wall socket but I can’t seem to find a cable that fits in the wall socket.

Can I connect the TV directly to the socket or do I need a TV Box ?

    AlexandruB You do not need a UPC TV box, as long as the normal channel offer in the Basic package is sufficient for you. You can plug your TV directly into your cable connection socket.

    Then you search via this link for the setup ID and enter this data before the search in the appropriate fields in the TV menu when you are asked.

      Thank you for the info! But I do have one more question, what cable do I use ? I got a SAT Coax cable and one end fits on the TV but the other end doesn’t fit anything in the socket ( I have a 3-hole Socket ). Any idea what I should look for or where I can get one ? ( I need a 10m one )

        AlexandruB I think such a cable should fit. Of course you can also buy 3 way shielded cables, which are a little more expensive, but are not as susceptible to interference.
