The same request for me please. I wish to also use port forwarding but currently do not have this option in my Advanced > Security settings. Can you make it so?

Resetting modem to factory details solved the issue, now I can see correct menu.

@piotrski , Please restart your modem once. If you still do not have the menu, please reset it to factory defaults.

I still do not have an Internet and in modem settings, adv settings, IP and port filtering I can see “IPv6 port filtering”

We have just made the switch to IPv4. I recommend you to buy a 1Gbit switch. It is important that the switch guarantees the 1Gbit in both directions per port and does not share the 1Gbit. I personally do not recommend a certain brand, but I like Netgear 😀

Hi Daniele,

I have 1G Internet since January this year (upc.ch), I’d like to ask your help to swith to ipv4 in order to enable port forwarding. 🙂

My second question is what is your advice , what is the best solution if i need more ports than the four that is available on the UPC modem ? Should i buy a swith and just chain it to the modem on one of its port ? Any specific brand ?
