PASSWORD HELP PLEASE
gcerqueira Welcome to the community!
We will send you a new password by mail within the next two business days. As soon as you receive the letter, please change your password and add a cell phone number to your account, so that you can behave a new password via SMS in the future.

Daniele_Sunrise thank you Daniele for such a quick response. I have my mobile number ending ****5380 registered in MyUPC. Can’t you send me a new password through SMS?
I also need to create an account to my wife d.rosa@highspeed.ch can this be taken care of, with password setup as well? Thank you
gcerqueira Unfortunately, we can not do this for security reasons. For the creation of a sub-account and the new password you have to wait for the letter.

Daniele_Sunrise Thank you once again Daniele is there a way I can setup rules in the UPC mail? For example, depending on the sender, store the message in a given folder. Thank you
Daniele_Sunrise thank you Daniele. How can I configure UPC mail to identify what messages I want to flag, store and remove as SPAM, other than through the creation of rules. Thank you
gcerqueira The spam filter is not administrable. You can use rules to bypass the spam filter so that messages incorrectly marked as spam go back to the inbox.

Daniele_Sunrise Thank you Daniele - What if I want to add items to the SAPM filter? By marking a message as SPAM, does it add the sender or the subject to the SPAM filter, or do I need to create rules to add additional messages to the SAPM filter? Thank you
gcerqueira If you mark it as spam, it will be tagged as spam. However, only on the basis of the sender mail address and perhapos the subject. But since spammers change the subject, the email address and also the IP, it can be that messages still go into the inbox from time to time.
For more information about spam, please contact our Abuse colleagues (abuse@upc.ch).

Daniele_Sunrise hello @ daniele I am struggling with the setting up of rule. For instance on the example here attached. If I want to move this sender to a folder I created named “private”. What is the right rule to use? I assume “From” but then is what? “contains”, “is exactly”, “matches”, etc… which one do I use? and then for the content of the field, do I use the yellow part highlighted on the attached (description of the sender), the green (email address only), or both?
I am trying all combinations but no success so far
Thank you
gcerqueira You can take “contains” and then enter the e-mail address (news.haut-lac.ch) or only then domain (haut-lac.ch). With this information it should work.

- Edited
Daniele_Sunrise thank you daniele not working though… I tried both look:
Can it be related to this arrow sign? What does it mean?
Thank you
gcerqueira Please set the filter rules like this:
The arrows mean that the rule is now applied immediately. Then you can see if the mails have disappeared in the inbox.

Daniele_Sunrise super merci Daniele that’s exactly what I did - but unfortunately it is not working
emails continue to glow into my inbox and not moved to the folders I wished they went directly into
gcerqueira I recommend you to use the “Unsubscribe” link at the Swiss providers like Coop and others. With the foreign or insecure senders I would not do this.
Since I don’t have any other solutions, please contact our support at 0800 66 88 66 for a more in-depth review of your issue.

Daniele_Sunrise thank you Daniele. I actually don’t want these emails to be treated as SPAM. I just want them to be filed in a specific folder, reason why I created the rules. What I hear from you is that if the rules are not working l, aí should call the support team? Thanks for clarifying
gcerqueira Exactly, please contact our hotline at 0800 66 88 66 for more in-depth support.
