Daniele_Sunrise I found the issue! I realized that instead of moving messages manually to the folders, but rather selecting the messages, clicking on “more actions” > “move”, the client automatically asks me if I want to “create a filter rule” for that. By selecting this option the rule is created automatically and it then works, because it automatically sets the rule as “apply rule if any condition is met”. When creating a rule manually, the default setting is “apply rule if all conditions are met” - reason why it never worked.
