Hello,

Last month, I was contacted via phone by a UPC representative, who convinced my to upgrade my internet subscription to 600 Mbps, claiming that I would be exempt from the activation fee (CHF 99). I accepted.

Today, I just got my first invoice and I was charged with the CHF 99 activation fee.

Is this a mistake that you can rectify?

@jbo , You can deduct chf 99 from the total amount of the invoice. This would result in a remaining balance of CHF 14.40.

Now should I…

a) Pay the original invoice with the full amount anyway, and the credit will have effect on the 2nd invoice.

b) Wait for the original invoice to be updated?

@jbo , You are right, we made a mistake. Please excuse our error. The activation fee of CHF 99 has just been credited by me. You will see the credit in MyUPC within 48 hours.
