Extend wifi range with access point

Hallo, Wir haben gestern unsere Box installiert und wie vermutet, haben wir im zweiten Stock eine schlechte WLAN-Verbindung. Ich habe darüber nachgedacht, einen Ubiquiti Access Point (U7 lite) zusammen mit einem PoE-Injektor (Ubiquiti 2.5G PoE+) zu installieren. Ist das eine gute Lösung, die funktionieren würde, oder würden Sie eine andere Konfiguration empfehlen? An unseren Wänden sind bereits Ethernet-Kabel zwischen dem ersten und dem zweiten Stock angeschlossen, daher denke ich, dass eine Lösung, die sich dies zunutze macht, der beste Weg nach vorn ist, aber ich bin offen für eine Änderung meiner Meinung :) Danke Daniel

We installed our box yesterday and as suspected we have poor connectivity on the second floor via wifi.

I was thinking about installing a Ubiquiti access point (U7 lite) together with a PoE injector (Ubiquiti 2.5G PoE+).
Is that a good solution that would work or would you recommend a different set up? Our walls already have ethernet cables connected between first and second floor so i guess a solution that takes advantage of this is the best way forward but i’m open to have my mind changed 🙂

Welcome to the community.

Adding an access point to your network will sure help with the wifi coverage. Using the ethernet cables is the way to go. Fast wifi runs through ethernet.

Adding a third party access point might result in short connection losses when switching between access points (Connect Box 3 / Ubiquity). You could turn of the wifi on the Connect Box 3 and get another Ubiquity access point or you can rent WiFi Extenders from Sunrise to extend the wifi.
