This morning I switched back from routed to bridged mode and upload speed is now terrible
Connect Box 3 in Router Mode >> 1000 mbit down / 100 mbit up
Connect Box in Bridge Mode >> 1000 mbit down / 10 mbit up
Last autumn I switched from bridged to routed because I started to notice slower and slower upload rates. This morning I got my new firewall and went back to bridged mode - and the upload speed was gone again.
What I tried (the last 2.5 hours)
- different Firewalls (Unify Dream Machine Pro, OpenSense on Linux ) - both withat least 2.5 gbit/sec capable NICs
- no UDM or VPN features enabled
- changed cabling (direct, over switch, over glass) - no change
- Tested Intranet-Speed to adapters - typically > 2 gbit/sec
- Self test in Router mode showed no problems
- Restarted Modem several times
- I got another IP Adress (routed: 77.x.x.x, bridget: 84.x.x.)
Any help appreciated - I really need the Dream MachinePro running because of Firewall and Security Cameras.
Regards, Roger
