Hello !
First connection today with a Connect Box 3 device and an Up Home L contract. The contract is advertised to be capable of max 2.5GBit download speed. I checked the speed with :
The reported download speed is not even halve of the (theoretically) maximum possible. So I called 0800 707 70 7 only to find out that the line at the house (co-axial) is limited to 1Gbps. So I was told ! If this is true, and by the way, I cannot recall to have discussed this with the agent that offered the contract, why should I pay for a 2.5 Gbps contract when there is a lower cost+speed contract which is limited to 1Gbps ? This is unfair.
What can be done ( besides that I already wrote to the agent who offered the contract ) ?

ps- Some technical info, of the MoDem, reaveals, however, that the device itself is capable of speeds > 1Gbps.
