Hello,

It’s 2024 and Sunrise is revolutionizing the router. No DNS and Subnet parameters. No dual-stack IPV4 IPV6. And no bridge mode. Worst of all, I’m pretty sure some of these options are there, but we don’t have full admin access. Is there any way to get access, or to replace this router with a real one?

These routers have so many problems. The one I am losing sleep over is the interface default setting stating “IPv4 Firewall is offline.” Can’t change this..

Anonymous29 After much research, I found that Sunrise offers a Zyxel fiber router that seems more open. I called the hotline and they sent me one. Let’s see.

It is better than the connect box, but it is not the best either. The DNS is not modifiable.
