Port Forwarding UPD not working

Hi,

I’m facing a weird behavior with port forwarding on my Internet Box Fiber. I configured some ports number to be forwarded to a specific device and it works great when I used the TCP protocol but it doesn’t when I use UPD protocol.
I made some tests with the packet sniffer on my fortigate and seems that udp is not working at all.
It’s very annoying, can someone tell me if there are any limitations on UDP Protocol in the sunrise network ?

We have made the switch to IPv4, which will be completed in a few minutes. Please test the port forwarding again afterwards.

Daniele_Sunrise Thanks Daniele for your answer.

It seems that it still doesn’t. To be more precise I’m trying to configure IPSec VPN Client on my Firewall. I tried same config with another internet operator (router in bridge mode) and everything works fine.

PS. If I configure SSL-VPN it works great (custom port TCP forwarding)

mpanasci I have now deactivated your firewall, as you are using your own firewall and all other devices are connected to it. Can you please test it again?

I also see that you are currently changing your modem to the Connect Box 3 Fibre. Please also test it with the new modem if it doesn’t work with the old one.

Daniele_Sunrise I sent the router Connect Box 3 Fiber back because it had been sent by the call center thinking I could use it in bridge mode. Obviously they don’t know that with fiber, bridge mode cannot be activated.

I’ll test it and I’ll let you know.

I already did that before posting in this forum, and they said that they don’t give support about this kind of trouble. Very very bad answer, honnestly I’m a bit disappointed regarding the support’s answer.
I will continue to investigate on my side, and again a big thank you for your help I appreciate.
