WharfRat I have a Giga Connect Box from UPC. Recently I bought a Philips HUE Bridge and some lights. Unfortunately I can’t get my HUE Bridge to connect to the internet (the 3rd blue light). Searching online forums I keep seeing discussions of the UPnP. So I log into the interface and click on Advanced Settings and discover I don’t have a tab for UPnP, which should be between DHCP and Tools. Is this normal or is my Giga Connect Box so old that it doesn’t have this feature?
Daniele_Sunrise WharfRat We have initiated the changeover to IPv4, which will be completed in a few minutes. Please test it again with the UPnP function. Greetings Daniele
TheSven For UPnP to work, your ConnectBox has to be set to Ipv4 only. With your current DS-Lite Status, ports can’t be openend => So no UPnP. Wait until Monday and @Daniele_Sunrise can switch your modem to Ipv4.
WharfRat TheSven Thanks Sven. I was wondering if this IPv4 / IPv6 thing had something to do with it. I’ll wait for Daniel. Cheers!
peugster Daniele_Sunrise Hi all, I have exactly the same problem with my Sunrise internet box. Any help possible? (Hue bridge not connected to internet, but all other functions ok). Thanks, Philippe
WharfRat Hi Daniele, I now see the UPnP tab under Advanced Settings. My HUE Bridge connected to the internet and works (now to figure out how to use all the features, but that’s my problem🤣). Thank you for your help. Have a great day! WharfRat
