Hello, Ninon package is not updated yet, though the two proposed channels JSTV1 and JSTV2 are not broadcasting any more since November 1st. Now, the package has just one channel NHK world premium. On the TV box, info and price are not yet updated. Sunrise home page shows a price of 19.95CHF.

Any idea when is it going to be updated?

Thank you.

Discussioni relative

For just a few days, I have access to most Sunrise channels.

JSTV1 is broadcasting a message saying it’s off-air.

JSTV2 is showing NHK Premium but with a program guide that seems … random? Maybe an old JSTV2 one. As recordings and the episode guides etc all use the program guide, it means apart from watching live TV it’s an impossible channel to watch.

According to this thread:
https://community.sunrise.ch/d/32972-change-day-on-november-15-2023

JSTV1 and 2 should have been sorted out yesterday. But nope - not yet, anyway.

Hello Andrian,

Thank you for the information. Yes, it looks like only the video stream changed to NHK world premium, but channel names, program guide, TV shop app, price and channel list on the homepage are not up to date, though we are already in the middle of the month.

On NHK world site, they mention Sunrise as the only provider in Switzerland. I hope Sunrise will do the necessary changes soon.

By the way, I called Sunrise and the person at the call center knew nothing about JSTV termination and the move to NHK world premium. Not a very useful call.

@Daniele_Sunrise posted the thread regarding the updates/fixes to the Japanese premium channels, so hopefully he can let us know when the Nov 15th “Change Day” will be completed by. Maybe we just need to wait for an overnight update to our boxes.

One step forwards: they’ve renamed the channel from JSTV2 to NHK Premium.

The program guide is still completely wrong though

adrianlondon The program guide will be updated in the next few weeks. The UPC page will also be updated with the correct price, if not already done. The price on the Sunrise page is correct for the one remaining channel.

    Greetings

The price on the sunrise tv app is still the old one, so it is not possible to place an order.

Do note: replay and recordings both work off the guide, which is wrong. Apart from live TV, it’s not easily watchable at the moment.

        Thank you for your recommendation.

Yes, I’ll wait that the service is like it should be.

Daniele_Sunrise is there any update on the issue? Because I see no change on the tv app that’s still mention JSTV at 49chf for the Nihon package. When is it going to be updated?

        Thank you.

Dnic It is possible that the UPC page has not been updated. Do you have a link to the page with the wrong price?

The Sunrise homepage shows the channel package correctly:

          Greetings

Daniele_Sunrise on the TV box, I select channel 956 “NHK world premium”, press tell me more which shows me the nihon bundle at 49chf with two channels jstv1 and nhk world premium. This is in the tv app.

I am not able to see any price on upc home page.

            Thank you

The option to see and add TV packages online seems to have been removed for us UPC customers, and you either have to phone or do it via the box.

While the Sunrise page correctly shows the price as 19.95Fr, on the box itself it shows the old price of 49Fr. At least the TV listings now looks correct. Maybe try phoning, Dnic? The sunrise website has the correct price, as Daniele shows above.

adrianlondon thank you for your suggestion.

I’ve just finished a 20 minutes call with UPC that is telling me that the price is still 49CHF for the nihon bundle, that it is the same price at Sunrise, which seems not to be correct and basically there is no change in the situation.

I am beeing told that nothing can be done right now and I ask to forward the information to their administration service.

May be in few months things will move forward.

They made a mistake. Danielle above found the Sunrise price on their website: 19.95Fr. Maybe call again if you can be bothered - ideally after finding the URL on their website so you can teach them their job show them.
