Degraded internet connection - periodical reboots needed

Dear community.
Several weeks ago I paid attention that the internet speed from my Connection Box becomes very slow.
The “problem” can be solved be re-powering the connection box.
Here down are the speedtest examples before and after the re-power.
The test is done at raspberry pi 4 connected to the modem by the network cable.
WiFi at the modem is disabled.

My subscription is 300/30, so just after the reboot the connection box is working close to the allowed maximum.
But after some time the speed degrades.
OK, 5 Mbit/s is, frankly speaking, enough for the most light tasks, but I pay for 300 Mbit/s.
Am I the only one facing this problem?
It is very annoying to re-power the connection box, say, once a week.

deh The signal values are okay. May I ask why you don’t put your modem in bridge mode? Currently you have a double NAT with TP-Link Deco, which means two firewalls connected in series, which is not good.

You can find instructions for bridge mode here. Please test the speed again afterwards.

These tips may also help:
If you recently encounter limited speed acceleration, or unable to reach maximum connection speed, please try to disable the following features: AiProtection, Traffic Analyzer, Web History, Adaptive QoS, Game boost, Web & apps filters, bandwidth monitor, Mobile Game Mode to maintain the optimal internet speed.

The idea of my network is to use the Connect Box as a router for my wired devices (I disable WiFi at the Connect Box) and the TP-Link Deco 4MR (where R stands for a “router”)+ Deco 4MW (which is wrongly called “repeater”) for the WiFi mesh system.

Deco M4R has only one “output” wired port (actually, it is a very clever function, as it saves one “used” wired port at the Connect Box), so I need the LAN sockets at the Connect Box. Also - all the cables were already connected and fixed, so I do not want to exclude the router mode of the Connect Box.

Before coming to this configuration, I was playing with WiFi repeaters connected to the Connect Box WiFi , but found my current Deco mesh setup very stable and robust.

All my tests are done at Raspberry Pi which is a Linux computer directly wired to the Connect Box (single NAT and single Firewall - both are native from the Connect Box, so the Tp-Link double function is excluded).

The WiFi devices (Deco network) are inactive during my tests.

Today I had very good results:

So - for two days the speed is good without doing nothing from my side.
The time scale of the speed degradation I observed so far is ~ one week.
So - let us wait.

Please note the ping and server location of the current test.
Two days ago the were no fast pinged servers around! The best ping was 200 km away.
Even now ping is too big.

p.s. As for the “features” you recommend to disable - I was searching them in the Connect Box settings - but did not find.

deh We have just initiated a replacement of your modem. You will receive the new modem in the next days. Please replace all cables and the power supply with the new ones in the package. Please contact us again afterwards if the cause is still present.

Thanks, I had received the new modem (Giga Connect Box).
The device works fine - there are no speed problems so far (since the installation on 17.03.2023 evening ) .
The ping is still not ideal, but the speed is stable close to the subscription maximum:

As you see, simple “ping” is faster than the ping reported by the speedtest-cli, but it is normal.
