- you have deactivated the DHCP of the modem
- your device now takes over the DHCP function
- the modem has an IPv4 address and your device now takes over the delivery of internal IPs to your devices
Exactly here is somewhere with you IPv6 for internal IPs activated, or you have internally a dual stack running and the devices, which communicate with IPv6 (internal) get an Ipv6 IP.

Switch on the DHCP server of the modem as a test. What IP internal addresses are distributed?
