UPC -> Sunrise Subscription Migration

I currently have three active mobile subscriptions with Sunrise and Internet/TV with UPC so had an idea to consolidate everything and upgrade my Internet speed too. I have been given a hotline number dedicated for UPC customers and after 2 days of trying I faced a real disappointment - person on the phone was not really helpful and simply stated all promotional offers are for new customers only and those at UPC does not qualify. He said he is not able to do anything and if I am not happy I can cancel my subscription with usual 3-month notice - which I did. But I am still shocked to experience such treatment as loyal customer and simply want to confirm that Sunrise does not offer any valuable option to those moving from UPC? If that is the case, perhaps it is time to consider moving away at all.

We are very sorry that we did not make you an offer. Basically, if your contract still has a minimum contract period, you cannot switch. However, if the contract period has expired, a change would be possible.

In any case, our contract department at 0800 900 210 will be able to help you with your request.

My minimum contract period expired already, I have tried number above but unfortunately once again I was informed that migration is not possible and I have to wait until UPC is terminated completely (which means 31st Jan). Only after then I can order new products from Sunrise, which also for the interim period I will not have Internet at home. So they did not helped me at all on anything in this matter.

It is really really disappointing that Sunrise does not care at all about existing customers - especially as there was no choice given to them while UPC got acquired.
