Hi,

I tried several times to verify my ID using the app. The result is always the same: it says that my ID is not valid after scanning both sides. I use the same ID that entered for the contract, my Hungarian ID card. I’m also sure that it is valid as the expiration date is far in the future. There seems to be a logical error in the app how that verifies the validity.

    Please restart your phone and try again. If it does not work again, a letter carrier will do the identification. If there is an item of CHF 40.- on one of the next bills, please contact me again for the credit.

      Hello

      I also have issues with the UPC ID Checker application. Tried multiple time to check my ID using my passport and it always failed at the 2nd page. After multiple failed attempts now it does not even recognize the QR code.

      I have restarted my phone (a Samsung A52) multiple times, cleared app data multiple times, cleared app cache multiple times, re-installed the app multiple times and also tried the app from a different device (an iPhone).

      What other option are available for identification beside paying 40chf (to be identified by the postman)?
