Hi Folks,

I’m a new UPC Mobile customer since yesterday. At first my Pixel 6 Pro wouldn’t connect at all to the sunrise-upc Network. After a while I got it working and also the LTE connectivity by manually adding an APN.
The funniest thing is though that my phone shows constantly the “R” Sign next to the connection icon. And if I turn Roaming Data off then my LTE connection is gone! So my phone really thinks it’s “abroad” ?
As said it shows that it’s connected to the sunrise - upc Network. I did already a network reset, reseated the SIM and rebooted my phone endless times. Anyone experiencing similar issues?

I can replace your SIM card. It may be that it is an older SIM before the merger. Do you want me to initiate the exchange?

I can confirm that with the new SIM the roaming icon is gone 🙂
