@ATE ,so simply explained, I would say that you would have to have a remote control that has the ability to pick up signals from other remote controls via wireless signal and IR. Here in the community some users have the Logitech Harmony. You can use it to control the UPC TV Box and other devices.

@ATE , I recommend you a remote control e.g. from logitech which meets your needs. Otherwise you would have to learn the UPC TV remote control functions via your TV, if this function is available.
