Good point, I’ll try that, but as you say, this is probably not as convenient or reliable as the direct HDMI connection to the TV + won’t work for the video-projector.

I went with a universal remote for the exact same reasons you mention. I’m new to this so I don’t have experience with the legendary Logitech Harmony, but the Sofabaton seems to be working quite well, except it won’t control the Sunrise TV Box…

Got it. Lucky you. And thanks for trying the Sunrise IPTV box too! Too bad it doesn’t seem possible.

adrianlondon Thanks for your reply! So your current UPC/Sunrise TV box is controllable by a universal remote (maybe because it’s still IR?) but not the new ones, right?

I bought a universal remote (Sofabaton X1) to control all my AV stuff. I was hoping to have it control my Sunrise IPTV box too, but I haven’t figured out a way. So I’m curious here if anyone knows how to control the Sunrise IP TV Box with a universal remote such as the Sofabaton X1.
