I have an iphone which does not have any subscription or active sim. I have an Apple watch cellular that I would like to give it to a family member so we can call or send messages to the watch. I ordered a we connect watch subscription. Would this work? I don’t want to make calls from the iPhone itself (it is only used to control the watch).
