Dopo mesi di richieste e lamentazioni, finalmente vedo che il firewall IPv4 è "online" dopo essere stato "offline" per più di un anno. Domanda: la fibra ConnectBox 3 ha effettivamente un vero firewall nel modem/router o è uno di quelli cosiddetti "firewall cloud" per tutti i modem? E come "utente finale" possiamo effettivamente configurare questo firewall modem o sono quei pulsanti falsi? In che modo i nostri vecchi router all'improvviso hanno ottenuto un firewall online quando non è stato possibile prima? Avevamo effettivamente un firewall moderno quando l'impostazione era "offline" per più di un anno? Non sono riuscito a ottenere una risposta diretta. Perdonatemi se sembro un po 'scettico o diffidente. Si prega di avvisare.

After months of inquiries and complaining, I finally see that the IPv4 firewall is “Online” after being “Offline” for more than a year.

Question: Does the ConnectBox 3 Fibre actually have a real firewall in the modem/router or is this one of those so called “cloud firewalls” for all modems? And as an “end user“ can we actually configure this modem firewall or are those fake buttons? How did our old routers all of a sudden get an online firewall when it wasn’t possible before?

Did we actually have a modem firewall when the setting was “Offline” for more than a year? I couldn’t get a straight answer. Pardon me if I sound a little skeptical or distrustful.

Please advise.

Smith I can’t answer your last question, but the modem has a built-in firewall that is also connected to the cloud for settings, etc.

Thanks. So it sounds like millions of Sunrise customers operated without a functioning built in modem firewall doing our banking and other financial transactions for many, many months. 😳 Well, at least now we have a built in firewall?
