Hey,
Since there is no way to write you guys an email or open up a support ticket of some sort i’m trying my luck here… (after getting told my connection works fine via telephone support -.-)
I have really weird disconnects(or very long lags) quite frequently while playing World of Warcraft. I have this Problem since Months and can not find a fix
The weird thing about it is: it’s only WoW. Every other game works fine and even if I’m playing WoW and simultaneously talking to friends via Discord the connection to Discord (or everything else) is still up while WoW lags out or disconnects. (while my friends have no issues whatsoever)
I contacted the Blizzard support and did some troubleshooting with them.
We want as far as reinstalling reinstalling the games client and even reinstalling Windows .
We did some testing via mobile Hotspot and it worked fine. So we analyzed the routing to the Blizzard server for my normal cable connection.
Here are some WinMTR logs:
and here is one that i left running a much longer time:
I’m no network expert by any means but i think i can sense where the problem lies when looking at tests.
I have no idea to whom these problematic nodes belong or why there is packet loss between them. But is there a way to fix this? Or do you know why my connection gets routed this way?
Regards
