Connect Box 3 HFC

Hi,

I need to switch my ConnectBox 3 to ipv4 and then configure DMZ. Is this possible? Thanks

    Please call 0800 707 707 and request the change to IP4v.

    DMZ or Bridge Mode will become available after the changes have been made.

    thanks for your answer. Done this and now I have already the IPv4 thanks. What’s left is the DMZ - I don’t see it in the Router UI, already restarted it several times. Is there any manual how to do this? Thanks!

      Do you really want DMZ?

      The HFC Version of the ConnectBox 3 offers the Bridgemode, if you want to use your own router.

      @TheSven Indeed the bridge mode would be better instead of DMZ.

      @Xydocq Thanks for the screen. Sadly I don’t the Modem mode. It’s strange since once I do ip address check on e.g. whatsmyip I see my ipv4 already and no ipv6 (yesterday before the switch I saw for sure only ipv6).

      Once I do the Network diagnostic tool in the modem I got:

      What’s worrying is the IPv6 gateway is valid.

      Do I need to wait a little bit more? Or maybe the router?

        Go to Advanced Settings > Tools > Network Status and have a look at Configuration

        does it say

        If so, please restart your Connect Box 3.

        If it says sr_atlas_v6-sip.bin, you’re still on IPv6. You can reboot the Connect Box 3 too, maybe it will change or you’ll have to wait a bit longer before changes take effect.

        @Xydocq Ok it’s still on sr_atlas_v6-sip.bin. I will wait wait and restart and then iterate few times if it’s still on ipv6. If it doesn’t switch I will call support on monday. Thanks for the help.

          How long do I need to wait for the switch? Already called the infoline, got confirmation the ipv4 was enabled, restarted the router and waited few minutes. Sadly still no bridge option in the router and the config file loaded is with the v6. Any Ideas or do I have to spam the infoline once again :/?

            Carael The switch has not gone through in the system because there are still two active modems on your account. I am currently clarifying whether we can fix the system error without a ticket and will get back to you.
