Sunrise
Postpaid

Hi all

For my switch to a new device (Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra), I have created a new e-SIM Profile in “my sunrise” and set it up on my new device using the QR Code.

This seems to work, I am able to do calls and also received SMS, but after restarting my phone, I always get a notification that prompts me to tap it to refresh / update the sim information.

When dling so, it seems that the SIM Manager refreshes the e SIM.

How can I get rid of this re-occurring prompt?

Thank you in advance!

Octron80 You can find a possible solution here. In addition, your error pattern has been discussed here for some time.

There is no proper solution so far. I have sent this issue as Feedback to samsung Switzerland and was on the phone with their Support.

Their advice was to hide this prompt via the Android Notification Management - this is not possible with my (Android 15) device because this option seems to be disable for system apps.

The assumption that the issue is caused by a provider app being installed when setting up the e-sim was not confirmed as the prompt was also shown when booting in safe mode (without third party apps loaded).

With https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joaomgcd.autonotification I was able to hide the notification, but this is only a workaround and not a proper solution of the issue.
