Ravish19 I was told this is an issue affecting many people due to increased traffic/connections as a consequence of the mandatory working from home. What I particularly miss here is some communication explaining what the issue is and what are they doing to fix it - including timelines. I am also considering the change in provider.

Marlovelle You nailed it. Now when whole world is working from home, it becomes extremely important to keep customer updated and steps with timelines what they are taking to fix the issue.

Ravish19 We have made the changeover, which will be completed in 30 minutes. Restart your modem afterwards. If you have problems, reset your modem. Press the reset button on the back of the modem with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds.

Daniele_Sunrise As per your instructions, I had restarted the Giga box and monitored for a day. It did improve but still it got disconnected 3 times today between my working hours 09:00-18:00.

Could you please suggest the solution for seamless connection?

Ravish19 We see that you currently have only WIFI connections on your modem. So we assume that the interruptions affect the WIFI.

What have we done now?
- We have unnamed the 2.4 GHz WIFI and added a 2.4GHz at the end. Now connect all devices which are further away from the modem to this WIFI (…..2.4GHz). All other devices which are closer to the modem, you connect with the WIFI without the _2.4GHz.

Daniele_Sunrise Hello….provided solution worked for couple of weeks and again it came back to square 1. Whatsapp call and VPNs are disconnecting at least 3-4 times a day.

Daniele_Sunrise You renamed the wifi name to suffix* _2.4GH earlier which seems to be removed today. Is it working n expected lines and removed deliberately?

Ravish19 I have adjusted the name for you. Next time you can do this yourself in the admin console of your modem under WIFI Settings. It also deletes the change again when you reset the modem.
