    No UPC problem anymore as I have no UPS anymore 🙂

    But, I got today two emails from the community moderation that It would be nice and fare from me to replay to those who replied voluntary to my questions here.

    So here I am being egger to find more but nothing …

    How long should stay here a message to be considered???

    If you do not  replay why did you launch such a service?

    My issue is still there regardless the e-mails sent to support twice with copies of the double invoiced service. Today I wrote again …

    Talked twwice with onlne support. They were saying that are checking, to wait at phone, connection lost and problem still the same.

    Today I got the third copy of the invoice with more penalities …

    I was client of UPC in two other countries before and were both bad.

    UPC Cablemcom turns to be even worse. On top of all Switzerland it is the single country from these three where you need to pay twice for the fact that you are client of UPC regardless that I need and use the service for the full subscription only and not the “free” one…  and it is legal !!!

    I really consider to close this topic for ever with UPC.

  • On 27.03.2016 I received the invoice no 38587303 from 15.03.2016.

    This invoice covers the period of 01.10.2015 - 31.07.2016  for the name Frau … (my name but not me)

    As I already received the invoice no 37150637 (01.10.2015 -31.12.2015), 37998368 (01.01.2016 - 31.03.2016) and 38457037 (01.04.2016 - 30.06.2016). All these invoices were issued on the name Herr … (so me) and were paid on time and covered the period with the exception of 01.07.2016 - 31.07.2016  which It should not be in anyway for the moment.

    Considering the facts mention can you please explain me why did I get the invoice no . 38587303 from 15.03.2016 and today I got the same invoice with including penalties?

    I do not have two cables connections in my house and I am Herr (me) and not Frau.

    I had no time to post before but I have news.

    I contacted the call center and they told me that they did not received any message through their contact forms from my side.

    It can be that I attached some file and due to size … I have no clue.

    Internet … they told me that it is working perfect from their side … and if I want to have the full speed to connect direct on their with Horizon box and not through my router … I told them that I will check and I will contact them again to tell them my conclussions.

    Before to that I listed first what it is diferent compared with the tiome that it worked:

    • Horizon box got updated,
    • I purchased a new antivirus software

    The update from Horizon box I can not influence and it was update done after.

    My new antivirus software is in fact the some one that I had before but with more additional futures. No changes done on the antivirus part. Tests done on wireless connections on mobile so without the influence of the antivirus and give the same results. Wirelss capabilities are up to 800 mbits … so even with limitation 2 to 3 mbits cannot be.

    So no conclussions …

    I tried to check the router … I found reviews complaining about Netgear router.

    I downgraded the firmware. Twice!

    I upgraded the router firmware to the latest version. 

    Nothing changed! Speed was the same!!!

    I had no time to test the direct connection but a day later … without any other changes … miracle! … my speed got back fully!!!

    As mentioned all that I did wasn’t working. So who did it? …

  • I observed from few days that Internet connection is very slow.

    I pay a 500 Mbps subscription with Horizon, a 3-1 cable connection for the building and I get  less than 3 Mbps measured through wired connection.

    I sent a message through the web page to support with details few days ago. No replay!!!

    I should use only the 3-1 connection and I will get the same service level !!!
