Thanks to everyone who replied. Contrary to what the internet says, the smaller remote control is not compatible with the UPS set top box. I spoke with someone at Sunrise who gave me this info (after I struggled with it for 2 days). I will be receiving a new Connect Box 3 and a new modem, since both of mine are from the UPC era and considered old. They should come in the mail tomorrow morning.
