I would like to know if can use my Connect Box 3 Fiber to get a computer (connected via Ethernet cable) to communicate with a Bluesound streamer (also (connected via Ethernet cable).
In other words can I built a wired home network using the Connect Box as a router?

Welcome to the community.

The Connect Box 3 FIBRE is a multi-function device. It’s a fibre-modem, a router, has a build in 4 port switch and acts as wireless access point.

Local traffic isn’t managed by a router, that’s done by a switch. If you connect both devices to the Connect Box 3 they should be able to communicate just fine.

Thank you very much for you prompt answer.

After connecting the PC and the streamer over Ethernet, using the box as a switch, I could easily get the PC to reach the streamer’s HD (which was my main goal) by just using the streamer’s IP.
