Is it possible to activate free calls and SMS for Iran? We stood for Ukraine, let’s stand for Iran as well.
During the past week of protests in Iran, the regime has cut the Iranians connection to the outside world by slowing down the internet and filtering the messaging and communication apps such as WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, Skype and what ever you would name.
This is a humanitarian crisis and require us to stand together and do the minimum we could to help our society grow for better. In Sweden, two mobile network providers of Tre and Hollan have already provide free calls and SMS to Iran, to help Iranians/Swedish-Iranians who have loved ones in Iran to get connected to them.
Let Switzerland be the second country who does that and help the freedom protestors in Iran to stay connected to the rest of the world.
Please let me know in case I need to contact anyone/any other groups to make this happen. It happened for Ukraine and it can happen for Iran too.
