Well, FINALLY I got to speakto people today… … and the last person I spoke to should NOT be working in customer services!
Aparently our package was changed (in name?) in April 2017. We knew nothing about this BUT… because of this we are entitled to NO discounts to upgrade our service, even though we shoukd have received written notice by UPC, WITH a discount code!! I asked to speak to a manager because of the attitude of the customer service lady, I was informed by her that I had no right to talk to a manager for this issue… … someone changes our package without our permission and I have no right to speak to someone in authority?!?? Aparently I ‘may’ get a call back from someone in 24 hours… who knows!!!
So, not only has our package been changed without our permission, we also have to pay another 15 CHF a month to upgrade so we can see the 148 channels that UPC decided to remove from our package!!
As you can probably tell, I’m not a happy bunny!! NOT looking forward to explaining all this to my wife when she gets home!! No wonder UPC Cablecom were bought out if this is their attitude to their customers when THEY muck up!! Looking forward to getting (hopefully) a better service from the ‘help’ line at some stage!!
