Overdue refund for cancelled order

I placed an order online for an iPhone 8 through my online account. I paid upfront for the handset which was 239CHF. I waited a few weeks with no delivery, called UPC and the handset was out of stock but they said I could go instore to get one. I did this but I had to purchase a different model as they didn’t have stock either. UPC shop staff said I had to pay again and that my original order would be cancelled.

I have spoken with customer services several times about the cancelled order and was told I would receive a refund for the initial order of 239CHF within 2 weeks but this has still not arrived. I am getting annoyed with talking to different people and explaining the same issue over and over.

Can someone help?

Dhepburn Hey Dhepburn, has this case been solved? I have similar case, five months ago I ordered an iPhone with downpayment of CHF 119. Two months waiting and still no iPhone so I cancelled the order and still today after 3 times talking with their staff on the phone (each call needs 30 minutes waiting on the line until someone talks to you!) I have not received the refund.

We were able to make the clarifications. The credit has been issued and will be paid to your bank account within 2 weeks.

stgrek We have received feedback from the accounting department, which is the following:
“The payment was executed on 19.3.2021. It was paid back to the card no: ……..8542. Reference number 100061707. With this information the customer should find the payment.”

Can you please check the account with the card number ……..8542?
