Port forwarding works externally but not locally network

Hello,

So I have the new Giga connect box, I configure the port forwarding for 80 and 443. It works when I access via 4g but not when I am connected with the WiFi, the web site doesn’t load and I don’t know why because it works with the connect box (change this weekend).
I could configure the hosts file locally but it’s not the best solution.
Do you know why I have this issue ?

@SwissShooty , Welcome to the community!

NAT Loopback does not work on the Connect Box. Please use the DynDNS address if you are outside your internal network and if you are at home, use the internal IP.

You can also make an entry in the hostfile under Windows.

Correction: The problem with the different ports wasn’t an issue. It works.
But the first case is an issue! I tested it twice.

I have the same issue.
I got my UPC Internet Box today and I setup all the port forwardings.
But the connection from my PC (internal IP) over the external DynDNS url to
my server (internal IP) doesn’t work. The DynDNS url is updated!

The same procedure works fine if I use my handy as a hotspot.
My PC has a external IP and can connect to my server with the DynDNS url.

Do you know the issue?

I have the feeling that the forwarding doesn’t work if you use different port number
by external to internal. Example: extern 1490 to intern 1433
Do you know an issue about that?

@D2A-Swiss , It may be that this is a loopback bug. This could be fixed in one of the next updates. We do not have more detailed information. You are welcome to contact our technical support if you need more information.

On WIFI the internal ip works but not the external

@D2A-Swiss , Can you please explain your request in more detail with examples? When you try to connect from WIFI, do you use the internal IP or external IP?
