Thank you Daniele for your kind introduction and recommendation. I feed trully honored. 😅
Now let’s face the issues: The Wifi booster kit from UPC uses PowerLine as a backbone. Transmitting data over the grid or the electrical wiring of your house is a very bad idea, because a lot of devices and appliances like fridges, microwaves or ovens are able to easily interfere with the PowerLine signal. PowerLine is also able to seriously degrade and disturb any kind of VDSL2 or G.fast signal (internet over telephone wiring). That doesn’t matter for UPC customers.
My first question to give you any kind of recommendation: Do you have network wiring (LAN) in your house or appartment? It very common in modern apartments or houses to have at least one network outlet in each room with a central distribution panel integrated at a in-wall cabinet, where all the network wiring for every room is terminated. If you have network wiring, we don’t need a traditional mesh system. A mesh system uses a dedicated wifi network as a backbone to transmit data. With network wiring we are using the LAN / Ethernet as a backbone for your access points (AP’s).
