Hello, a couple months ago I upgraded to a 250 Mb/s internet connection. The availability checker on the upc site said that 250 was available at my address. Soon after connecting the new modem, I ran some speed tests (wired only, no wifi involved) and found the connection would only give 30 Mb/s, occasionally 35.
Technical support have sent several engineers out to my address, all of whom have told me that the connection is only good for 30, or maybe 40, Mb/s at best.
Now it seems that either upc should upgrade the connection to give me the 250 I’m paying for, or they should alter my subscription so that I pay for what I get. But when I contact them, all that happens is I get transferred to technical support.
How does one break the cycle here and get someone to discuss the plan and how to put things right?
