Charged Activation fee

Hello UPC and fellow forum members,

I just got my first invoice for my TV+Internet subscription, and I was charged with a CHF 99 activation fee.

When ordered the services online, it clearly stated that the activation fee is waived from the subscription.

Why was I charged with this, has anyone else also had this problem?

Thank you very much for the welcoming and your help. I can see in my account that the amount has been corrected. I appreciate your very quick turnaround on my query.

As this is a feedback forum, I’d like to highlight my positive experience with UPC. So far all services are outstanding for me and I’m happy to have UPC happy home 🙂

We have corrected the mistake and just credited you with the activation fees. You will see the credit in about 48h on MyUPC. Please excuse our mistake.
