Hi UPC,
This morning, I received a new Gigabox to replace my Connect Box.
It’s configured, and the admin home page says I’m connected to the internet, but it lies 🙂
I assume there’s an automated process which will port my IPv4 address from my old box to the new one. I’ve left it on for a few hours (with two reboots, because that’s what I do in IT) but I still can’t access the internet.
Not urgent, as the wonderful feature of Wi-Free is keeping me online, but could you give the process a kick for me?
EDIT: Not sure if it’s relevant, but the MAC address (shown under admin/Info) doesn’t match the one you have when looking under “My Products” when logging in on the UPC web page. The serial number is correct, just the MAC address is wrong.

PS to anyone reading this, if you’ve not activated the Wi-Free feature, you should do. It’s very useful whenever you have issues with your own box or cabling (provided a neighbour nearby is also a UPC customer).
