Problems with Giga connect box

I’ve been having two annoying problems for a while. I recently switched to a new Giga router and the problems became even worse. I changed the router again today, with no impact.

1. Ping lagging every minute or so (see attachment for example), even when I connect via LAN

2. The WiFi coverage is pathetic - even sitting in the same room I sometimes get 2 bars. Splitting channels (separate names for 2.4 and 5G channels helps a bit, but I need to keep switching between the two).

Does anyone experience same issues? I am thinking of whether I need to buy another modem (which won’t help with 1) or just switch providers.

@vladz , We have switched your modem to IPv4. This is the only change we have made.

Thank you. After you made the changes, the WiFi range seemed to improve. It is still not very strong around the apartment, however.

The connection (LAN and WiFi) is still lagging (see attached), which causes interruptions.

@vladz , We have done a changeover on your modem, which will be completed in 30 minutes. Restart your modem afterwards. If you If you have difficulties, carry out a modem reset. To do this, gently press the reset button on the back with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds.

Try again after that.
