The statement of the employee is correct. The offer is only available for new customers.
Campaigns and promotions to acquire new customers are common in the industry. Every one of our customers was once a new customer, who in most cases could also benefit from a special offer or promotion. Such promotions are declared as such on our website. Usually a corresponding note can be found in the “small print” at the bottom of the respective offer page.
So there is no generally valid “script” to get favourable conditions. Surely you understand that not least in the interest of a calculation that is favourable for our customers, we cannot grant every existing customer another one after the expiration of the granted promotion.
Although we interpret our promotions generously in the interest of our customers, we have to set limits somewhere.
