Less than two weeks after football it’s already time for ice hockey
For Matthias Krieb, who is responsible for MySports at UPC, the Bundesliga start is just the kick-off for additional sporting highlights soon to come: “Like most sports fans, I too have hardly been able to wait for the big team sports to get going again. After the Bundesliga start this coming weekend, it’s less than two weeks until the fourth hockey season in our broadcasting history will begin on 1 October. MySports is the only channel that shows all National League matches live. The entire MySports team is extremely eagerly awaiting this new beginning and thanks its many loyal subscribers for their patience and support over the last months.”
Season start of the Bundesliga with Borussian derby
With the match between Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach (Saturday, 19 September 2020 at 6.30 pm live with Sky on MySports One), eight of the currently 18 Swiss Bundesliga pros could put in an appearance: Manuel Akanji, Roman Bürki and Marwin Hitz are playing for Lucien Favres BVB as they did last year, while Yann Sommer, Nico Elvedi, Breel Embolo, Michael Lang and Denis Zakaria wear the colours of the Mönchengladbachner Fohlen.
On the French-speaking channel of MySports One, the game is also commented on in the second national language.
