Hello !

I would like to have my ConnectBox switched to IPv4.

The reason : I would like to use the connect box in “Bridge Mode” so I can use my own router instead.

I also had a question : Will I be able to use DynDNS/NO-IP services when I have the connect Box in bridge mode (assuming my own router will handle DynDNS/NO-IP services) ?

Yes this is normal. The modem should restart. If not, restart it once and perform a reset if it still does not work after that.

It seems the switch has been done, however I lost all internet connection now (without being in bridge mode)

Sorry I haven’t answered your question yet. You can use DynDNS Services if your router can do this. :-)

Thank you for your message and welcome to the community!

We have made the changeover, which will be completed in 30 minutes. Restart your modem afterwards. If you have problems, reset your modem. Press the reset button on the back of the modem with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds. Then try again.
