Hi,

I am having issues with my internet for quite a while now.

I have a 1Gbit connection and I am receiving only 30 to 40 Mbit of download whereas the upload is around 80 gbit.

Any ideas?

Many thanks for your help! That did the trick!

I have enabled the 5ghz and disabled the 2.4ghz one. I didn’t change the name, though, of my wifi as you have suggested (xxxx_5Ghz). Do I need to? I mean does it have any real impact?

@JCH , Do you do the Speedtests via the Powerline Adapters? Please turn them off once when you do a speedtest.

I also recommend the following:
- switch on the 5GHz WIFI once
- change the name of your 5GHz WIFI (e.g. xxxx_5GHz)
- now connect your device to the 5GHz WIFI, how is the speed?

Hey Daniele,

many thanks for the quick reply.

Indeed the Lan test showed a download speed of 750 and an upload of 100. So it is WIFI issue, any ideas on how to resolve it? I am doing the test next to the WIFI router.

@JCH , Welcome to the community!

We see that you are doing the speedtest via WIFI. Please note that the WIFI has nothing to do with the internet connection.

To check if everything is correct, please do a speedtest via LAN according to the following instructions. If the speed via LAN is OK, the error must be found in the WIFI.
