Hi All,

I have been having some very strange issue with my Giga connect box some devices are unable to join despite the wireless password being 100% correct.

The admin page is unavailable (hangs indefinitley) from Wired and wireless clients.
If a device has already joined it is OK but new or disconnected devices are not able to join.

I have checked the forums and the problems seem to be exactly the same as described here:

I have spoken to support who have set my device to ipV4 but this has not helped.

Please advise on what to do next

UPDATE:

I manually disabled and re-enabled the 5Ghz Wireless, this seems to have caused it to have selected a new channel in Auto mode.

Now the 5Ghz network is available and I have multiple deivces connected to it.

I will continue to monitor the situation and hopefully this has fixed it.

Hi Daniele,

Thanks fo rthe information, I have completed the factory reset setup the wireless aand guest networks again.

Now the admin page is loading but nothing is connecting to the 5ghz network anymore (it was before the factory reset), this is making video calls jumpy and low connection speeds are making work difficult/impossible.

I am typing this 1m away from the router in an uncrowded room.

Please advise the next steps for troubleshooting.

Please reset your modem once. Press the reset button on the back of the modem for at least 25 seconds with a pointed object. Please try it again afterwards.
