I have a problem with my main computer connected to the wifi from the Horizon TV modem.
Problem is that when just starting the PC the internet connection gets correctly identified and I can use internet, but after some minutes the connection get either:
a. ‘Connected’ to the wifi, but ‘no internet access’
b. ‘Limited access’ to the wifi.
if i disconnect and connect again, it gets connected, but just for some seconds. until i start browsing and then again lost connection.
I have ad this problem with this since the very begining and i did solve it by connecting the PC directly with the Cable, but now that i have moved the PC, is not possible to me anymore to use a cable (and in the wifi era, i don’t want to accept to pass wires to avoid solving a configuration problem).
The strange thing is that the problem is basically between this PC and this WIFI connection, as:
1) all my other devices connect correctly to the wifi UPC.
2) My Main PC connects correctly to other WIFIs (i.e. the mobile hotspot i have been using in the meanwhile).
I have spent some time also in other forums, thinking that the problem is my PC, and I have change several settings without luck (turning off IPv6, not automatically detection of Bluethoot, etc).
One user mentioned that his problem was solved by their internet provider, doing a reset or some changing some setting, so I am hoping that this would be also my case.
