By Feb 2017 after years of smoothly being taken care of by Swisscom I moved to UPC with my landline and handy. Then by early April 17, I’ve elected to order an additional Handy number from UPC .However 2 days later , I decided to not go ahead with the second number and returned the SIM card to UPC . On April 28,17 without prior notification , UPC cancelled my old Handy contract together with the new one and disconnected my mobile during the weekend prior May 1, 17.
As such I became disconnected from rest of the world since then and as we speak . On Tuesday 2,17 their Hotline admitted the severe error along with their breach of contract and promised me to fix the issue same day by Express .
As of Thursday afternoon (4.5.17) the number is still down , no compensation or an excuse whatsoever was given by them and no certainty yet on when my number will be in service again . They promised to fix the issue , though their Hotline repeated promises were not kept at all and since then I have incurred servere damages for which they rather me need to bear full responssibility .I do not recall a similar case in the 39 years since I live in Switzerland .
PS : Everyday while asking for Express reactivation , I am told by UPC Hotline that the number will be reactivated , though as of May 4,2017 it’s definitely not the case !
What a mess !
