I wanted to have WiFi 6 so I purchased a FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber AON modem to replace my old Sunrise Internet Box, but haven’t been able to connect to the Internet (using Switzerland region and Sunrise Fiber L1 Profile). It says connection successful but the Internet just doesn’t work.
I called support and they couldn’t help but offered to send me a new Connect Box 3 Fiber modem. But surprise I got the exact same modem I already have, the old Internet Box. When I called again they said that this is the only one available for my type of fiber.
So now I have 3 modems, two identical one and one that doesn’t work.
What can I do? Is it true the Sunrise still uses the old Internet Box and has no newer modem? What is my type of fiber?
Any tips on how I can make the FritzBox work?
