Sunrise TV app was working last night, it has to open and connect to authorise the ATV log in, so that was all done in one hit. mySunrise app on my iPhone was the issue and after I wrote this I went back and figured out which stored credential in iPhone passwords had just logged me in successfully on my mac. So, I made sure to save it with the app and it now works. I also deleted some versions of credentials that were no longer working.
By the way, do you have any advice for me if I want to share my sunrise account with my family who all have mobile phone accounts under my address, name and id? My adult sons want to take advantage of Sunrise moments (now Sunrise rewards) but the only way is for them to log in with my account and password (same as I just fixed for the my sunrise app).. I can share the credential as a family password in iPhone passwords, but I wondered if Sunrise made any provision for this for families with several mobile contracts under one main account?
Ironically my own mobile phone is provided by my employer and not included in my contract with Sunrise. One of the Sunrise credentials therefore uses my son’s mobile phone number - for the TV login.
